Cristo Elivareo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hilario Eneto in the 5th minute of the match. If Eugenio Urritz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodosio Txema's late challenge caught a Urko FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodosio Txema helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Barrialito AFC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Teodosio Txema hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Tabor got free with Cristo Elivareo in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 13 minutes into the match, Barrialito AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Hilario Eneto came free, but Cristo Elivareo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Jacinto Raitin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barrialito AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Urko FC the free kick. The supporters of Urko FC booed when Barrialito AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Raitin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Modesto Gabrio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cristo Elivareo. Barrialito AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Urko FC's Teodosio Vedillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efrain Blai in the 19th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Jorge Tabor could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Cristo Elivareo however easily saved by the left post. Barrialito AFC's Cristo Elivareo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hilario Eneto in the 23rd minute of play. Cristo Elivareo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hilario Eneto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Barrialito AFC's goalkeeper Cristo Elivareo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Tabor. The crowd rose to their feet as Hilario Eneto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cristo Elivareo. That made the score 1-0 in the 25 minute of play. After 29 played minutes Urko FC got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Tabor. After 33 played minutes Barrialito AFC got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Brais. Teodosio Vedillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Raitin, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Tabor got free with Cristo Elivareo in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46th minute Jacinto Raitin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodosio Vedillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hilario Eneto to make the kick off. During the 51st minute of the match Teodosio Txema completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Teodosio Txema a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Urko FC booed when Barrialito AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodosio Txema didn't get a good kick on the ball.
