Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ronny Caicedo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Liga de Quito's Jairo Collador played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronny Caicedo in the 3rd minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 5 minutes into the game, when Zeruko Freije put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Liga de Quito fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 5th minute. Penalty! In the 7th minute there was a penalty for C.A. GUAYACO. Gomez Argüelles stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jairo Collador. 0-1. Jairo Collador showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Temes in the 11th minute of the match. Jairo Collador made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gomez Argüelles in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Liga de Quito's goal looked a bit too open when Ronny Caicedo came free, but Jairo Collador reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 15 minutes, Urrutia Tacon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Liga de Quito and the C.A. GUAYACO players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Liga de Quito getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Urrutia Tacon hit a great ball. Jairo Collador took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Temes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the game, Arboleda Reborio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A. GUAYACO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Liga de Quito the free kick. An unexpected shot in the 27th minute by Ponce Bollo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jairo Collador made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Rechani in the 31st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Liga de Quito's Vidal Cismado got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A. GUAYACO's goalkeeper Hugo Mejia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jairo Collador made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Temes in the 41st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Moreta Casanueva during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience was convinced that Ronny Caicedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jairo Collador was relentless in the 49th minute of the game.

The wind increased when Ponce Bollo made the kick off in the second half. Jairo Collador didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Rechani went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Liga de Quito's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Ronny Caicedo scored to the left of an out of position Jairo Collador, making the score, 0-3. After a rather tough play, Liga de Quito's Estrada Llantada got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 63rd minute, Ponce Bollo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Liga de Quito fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Urtzi Arzola's late challenge caught a C.A. GUAYACO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Urtzi Arzola helped the player get up and apologised. After 71 played minutes Liga de Quito got a freekick which was hit by Urtzi Arzola. In the 75th minute of the match, Ronny Caicedo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jairo Collador saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Fernández Corral hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. C.A. GUAYACO made a substitution. Vela Garros replaced Ronny Caicedo. C.A. GUAYACO made a substitution. Yader Aramberri replaced Arboleda Reborio. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xicu Fonseca in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jairo Collador prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jairo Collador didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from George Temes went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Vela Garros had several of the Liga de Quito's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 93 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-5 score and a disappointed Jairo Collador as he didn't even see the shot coming. Rodas Crisol kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. George Temes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. C.A. GUAYACO's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
