Spectators: 151 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Nova Soccer's Steve Hyuga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Nova Soccer's goalkeeper José Carvallo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Nova Soccer's zone, Kermit Regan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Carvallo came out of the goal and Kermit Regan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Flagstaff's Simon Rainey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Estefan Gavilanes in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Steve Hyuga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Simon Rainey. Flagstaff's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Steve Hyuga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Steve Hyuga was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 18th minute. Nova Soccer's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 23rd minute Matai Prat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Rainey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Flagstaff's goalkeeper Simon Rainey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Estefan Gavilanes. Simon Rainey made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Adriano Longar sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Estefan Gavilanes in the 31st minute of play forced Flagstaff's goalkeeper Simon Rainey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oswaldo Malla during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Oswaldo Malla kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Flagstaff's Reyes Bernard took a good shot, in the 41st minute, which hit the crossbar above José Carvallo's head, and flew over the goal. Nova Soccer's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Flagstaff. Matai Prat kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Estefan Gavilanes took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Simon Rainey. Simon Rainey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

57 minutes into the game, Estefan Gavilanes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Simon Rainey was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Roosevelt Hollis hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the match, Flagstaff's goal looked a bit too open when Froilan Gatell came free, but Simon Rainey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Steve Hyuga took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Simon Rainey. Simon Rainey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. After 66 minutes, Adriano Longar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nova Soccer and the Flagstaff players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adriano Longar hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Nova Soccer's zone, A.J. Sanderson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Carvallo came out of the goal and A.J. Sanderson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Simon Rainey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Estefan Gavilanes in the 74th minute of play. Flagstaff's Simon Rainey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steve Hyuga in the 75th minute of play. The supporters of Nova Soccer booed when Flagstaff was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roosevelt Hollis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 77 played minutes, Nova Soccer's Siro Vergas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Simon Rainey came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nova Soccer reached it. Steve Hyuga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Simon Rainey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute Estefan Gavilanes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Rainey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dane Moser fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flagstaff's protests and gave Dane Moser a yellow card for diving instead. Dane Moser hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. 85 minutes into the match, Flagstaff's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Longar came free, but Simon Rainey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute Estefan Gavilanes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Rainey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 92 played minutes Flagstaff got a freekick which was hit by Reyes Bernard. If Kermit Regan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
