Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nereo Medardo took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Zosimo Villalaud hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, The Old Boys's Gogo Oskitz got a free kick in the 8th minute. Pablo Larios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elazar Ocejo in the 10th minute of play. Cláudio Suárez hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Nereo Medardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th minute, The Old Boys's Cláudio Suárez seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Cláudio Suárez the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of The Old Boys protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cláudio Suárez had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of The Old Boys:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Real Unión CF:s goal. Pablo Larios had in the 22ndth minute some difficulties stopping Venerando Eguizabal's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Alvarez Hergueta might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pablo Larios. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvarez Hergueta ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Real Unión CF's Zosimo Villalaud got a free kick in the 38th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zosimo Villalaud made a kick off. In the 51st minute Eusebio Zaldierna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Larios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pablo Larios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebio Zaldierna in the 54th minute of play. The Old Boys's Pablo Larios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvarez Hergueta in the 55th minute of play. A collision led to Real Unión CF getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Venerando Eguizabal hit a great ball. Eusebio Zaldierna scored 2-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pablo Larios, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Real Unión CF's Eusebio Zaldierna got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, The Old Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Zosimo Villalaud came free, but Pablo Larios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pablo Larios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zosimo Villalaud in the 68th minute of play. Pablo Larios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusebio Zaldierna in the 69th minute of the match. A collision led to The Old Boys getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Gogo Oskitz hit a great ball. Zosimo Villalaud took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pablo Larios. Pablo Larios dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Venerando Eguizabal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Old Boys's Pablo Larios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elazar Ocejo in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elazar Ocejo in the 90th minute of play forced The Old Boys's goalkeeper Pablo Larios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Zosimo Villalaud left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Unión CF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 95th match minute, Real Unión CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venerando Eguizabal to maneuver through the defense. Nereo Medardo shot from long distance in the 96th minute, but Mariano Echarriza was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. When the referee ended the match the Real Unión CF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
