CD Suscal's Alfonso Obarenes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Padro Elano in the 7th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, CD Suscal's goal looked a bit too open when Vitor Sarceada came free, but Alfonso Obarenes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after CD Suscal's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gilberto Tavira took the corner. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Gilberto Tavira was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Alfonso Obarenes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 19 minutes into the game, Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Vitor Sarceada nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfonso Obarenes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 25 minutes into the game, Boniel Barja threw the ball into play from the sideline. CD Suscal's Xines Merida quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 30 played minutes Imperio Catatumbo de Lara got a freekick which was hit by Silvano Ariztegui. In the 31stth minute of the game Caicedo Gorvea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Ipar Estebanes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Imperio Catatumbo de Lara booed when CD Suscal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Elizondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 35 minutes of play, Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Vitor Sarceada made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfonso Obarenes was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 41stth minute of the game Vitor Sarceada who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD Suscal's Alfonso Obarenes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Xoan Austria lost his temper 43 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 45th minute there was a penalty for Imperio Catatumbo de Lara. Gilberto Tavira stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alfonso Obarenes. 0-4. After the first half Imperio Catatumbo de Lara were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vitor Sarceada stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alfonso Obarenes made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Vitor Sarceada sent off a good shot on target. In the 54th minute, Maximiliano Carranza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hugo Flayre hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Isaac Figueiras was substituted for Silvano Ariztegui. Vitor Sarceadas short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Alfonso Obarenes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Padro Elano in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfonso Obarenes saved CD Suscal from getting behind. In the 71st minute, Caicedo Gorvea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Bernardo Labora was substituted for Padro Elano. Bernardo Labora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Obarenes having to interfere. After 79 played minutes CD Suscal got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Elizondo. Everardo Bellogin hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Ipar Estebanes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caicedo Gorvea in the 85th minute of play. After 91 played minutes Imperio Catatumbo de Lara got a freekick which was hit by Everardo Bellogin. When the final whistle sounded Imperio Catatumbo de Lara left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than CD Suscal.
