If Oliverios Yaner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximiliano Araújo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Alfonso Obarenes made a huge save. A long shot from Maximiliano Araújo in the 7th minute of play was well struck, but Alfonso Obarenes made a really good save at the right post. In the 10th minute of the game Alvaro Bueras made a throw-in which Oliverios Yaner played forward. A collision led to CD Suscal getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Maximiliano Carranza hit a great ball. Timoteo Baranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caicedo Gorvea in the 19th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in CD Suscal's zone, Maximiliano Araújo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Obarenes came out of the goal and Maximiliano Araújo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Timoteo Baranda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Caicedo Gorvea went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Alfonso Obarenes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Fernández in the 29th minute of the match. Maximiliano Araújo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bohórquez Oton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timoteo Baranda having to interfere. Caicedo Gorvea kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 40 minutes in the game, Leo Fernández fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Alfonso Obarenes having to interfere. Maximiliano Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Obarenes having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Oliverios Yaner fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Alfonso Obarenes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Fernández in the 48th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Maximiliano Araújo made the kick off in the second half. Alfonso Obarenes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Fernández, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 52 minutes, Eduardo Holguin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Suscal and the Deportivo Peñarol FIFV players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bohórquez Oton hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 59 minutes into the game, Weterio Velaostegui was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CD Suscal the free kick. In the 65th minute, Oliverios Yaner ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfonso Obarenes was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Alfonso Obarenes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Fernández, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfonso Obarenes came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's Leo Fernández. But to his dismay, Leo Fernández quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. If Oliverios Yaner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. CD Suscal's Alfonso Obarenes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartoleme Sarro in the 84th minute of play. After 91 minutes, Caicedo Gorvea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CD Suscal and the Deportivo Peñarol FIFV players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ted Villafuentes scored 4-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfonso Obarenes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leo Fernández succeeded in the game's 98th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Deportivo Peñarol FIFV fans cheered their team off the field, for while CD Suscal had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
