Johnathon Gallo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohammed Wiley in the 3rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dexter Jeffers in the 7th minute of play forced West Side Highway's goalkeeper Andrew Goode to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrew Goode made an important save on a dangerous shot by Norman Bergman in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dexter Jeffers in the 9th minute of play forced West Side Highway's goalkeeper Andrew Goode to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohammed Wiley in the 11th minute of play forced Mankato's goalkeeper Johnathon Gallo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. West Side Highway's Andrew Goode proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save West Side Highway from getting a goal against them. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of Mankato:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of West Side Highway:s goal. In the 15th minute there was a penalty for West Side Highway. Wilford Wetzel stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Johnathon Gallo. 0-1. Andrew Goode made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty McBride in the 18th minute of play. If DeMarcus Brantley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 23 minutes into the game, Mankato's Jarrod Langston nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andrew Goode made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Andrew Goode made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Norman Bergman sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th minute, West Side Highway's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Norman Bergman fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to West Side Highway getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Leo Kuhn hit a great ball. Johnathon Gallo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohammed Wiley in the 32nd minute of play. Mankato's Johnathon Gallo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohammed Wiley in the 33rd minute of play. Andrew Goode came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Mankato's Norman Bergman. But to his dismay, Norman Bergman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Neil Chavez kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 41st minute DeMarcus Brantley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnathon Gallo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dexter Jeffers in the 43rd minute of play forced West Side Highway's goalkeeper Andrew Goode to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Weston French received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Johnathon Gallo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Mohammed Wiley made the kick off in the second half. Edmundo Ponce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Johnathon Gallo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th match minute, Mankato was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Neil Chavez to maneuver through the defense. Neil Chavez was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 58 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the game, one of Mankato:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Johnathon Gallo went to the wrong direction when Wilford Wetzel was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Mankato's goal looked a bit too open when Mohammed Wiley came free, but Johnathon Gallo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th match minute, Mankato was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarrod Langston to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Mankato's Johnathon Gallo got control of the ball when Mohammed Wiley tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 73rd minute, DeMarcus Brantley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th match minute, West Side Highway was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Kuhn to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute Dexter Jeffers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrew Goode saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jarrod Langston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrew Goode having to interfere. Norman Bergman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Johnathon Gallo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohammed Wiley in the 81st minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 83rd minute by Weston French got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Johnathon Gallo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohammed Wiley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohammed Wiley in the 87th minute of play forced Mankato's goalkeeper Johnathon Gallo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the West Side Highway players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
