In the 15th minute Dexter Jeffers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Maurino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Johnathon Gallo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Quirze, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Johnathon Gallo came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by América Magics Fc's Leopoldo Piorno. But to his dismay, Leopoldo Piorno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Nemesio Hanni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnathon Gallo having to interfere. When Armando Zuniga fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mankato's protests and gave Armando Zuniga a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Mankato's Armando Zuniga got a free kick in the 75th minute. Aaron Pere took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Johnathon Gallo. Mankato's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 81st match minute, Mankato was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarrod Langston to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Hanni in the 88th minute of play forced Mankato's goalkeeper Johnathon Gallo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the game, América Magics Fc's Eusebio Iaki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Johnathon Gallo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Leopoldo Piorno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnathon Gallo having to interfere.
