In the 14th match minute, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rius Monje to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute of the match, Lorenzo Ellis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Donatello Barajo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 23 minutes into the match, Ipar Monzonis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Shawn Ashby. Rodo got a freekick which was hit by Ipar Monzonis. If Morgan Wilkerson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Club Dep. Soc. Rodo booed when American Top Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Winford Craig didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ipar Monzonis made a kick off. Shawn Ashby was a little too slow when Juan-Carlos Otero got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 0-3. The supporters of American Top Team booed when Club Dep. Soc. Rodo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Turi Caval didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 61 played minutes, American Top Team's Arnoldo Short shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Donatello Barajo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in American Top Team reached it. Donatello Barajo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Morgan Wilkerson in the 61st minute of play. Donatello Barajo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Sands in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Orkatz Mahabe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, American Top Team's Lorenzo Ellis got a free kick in the 67th minute. Ipar Monzonis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Shawn Ashby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 74 minutes of play, American Top Team's Robert Sands made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Donatello Barajo was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, American Top Team's Shawn Ashby got control of the ball when Juan-Carlos Otero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Morgan Wilkerson hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the match, Ipar Monzonis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Shawn Ashby, 1-4. 95 minutes into the match, Robert Sands had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Donatello Barajo. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robert Sands was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
