Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frances Tisserand started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Qikiqtarjuaq FC defense, Jame Gilliam kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raymundo Dooley. The Qikiqtarjuaq FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raymundo Dooley should have stopped the shot. Raymundo Dooley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frances Tisserand in the 14th minute of the match. Frances Tisserand scored 0-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raymundo Dooley, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 22nd minute, Florencio Bernier reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Santiago Hatch. The goal made the score 1-2. In the 30th minute of the match Baudouin Pope shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raymundo Dooley showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Baudouin Pope kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the game, Alton Tate was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marshrose the free kick. In the 39thth minute of the game Jame Gilliam who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Raymundo Dooley was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jame Gilliam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raymundo Dooley having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 43 minutes into the game, when Maria Youngblood put in a rough tackle. The referee gave Marshrose a penalty, 45 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Baudouin Pope, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Raymundo Dooley. 2-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

After 54 minutes, Stéphane Dubose mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marshrose and the Qikiqtarjuaq FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Santiago Hatch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florencio Bernier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Jame Gilliam's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raymundo Dooley was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Jewel Coats received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Santiago Hatch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baudouin Pope's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Raymundo Dooley firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 74 minutes Qikiqtarjuaq FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Baudouin Pope who took care of the corner kick. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Qikiqtarjuaq FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Baudouin Pope was slow to take the kick. During this time Marshrose's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Baudouin Pope got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Raymundo Dooley quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Florencio Bernier got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Santiago Hatch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jewel Coats in the 84th minute of the match. Raymundo Dooley came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Marshrose's Frances Tisserand. But to his dismay, Frances Tisserand quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Alton Tate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Marshrose eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
