Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Frances Tisserand made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute, Frances Tisserand got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Marshrose's Jame Gilliam got a free kick in the 9th minute. Santiago Hatch made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Vaughn Willingham sent off a good shot on target. When Willis Lockhart came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Kentucky Mustangs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Willis Lockhart couldn't finish the play. After 17 minutes of play, Marshrose's Frances Tisserand made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tyrone McCracken was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tyrone McCracken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jame Gilliam in the 23rd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Kentucky Mustangs's goal looked a bit too open when Jame Gilliam came free, but Tyrone McCracken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Kentucky Mustangs's Willis Lockhart sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Santiago Hatch narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Santiago Hatch came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Kentucky Mustangs's Willis Lockhart. But to his dismay, Willis Lockhart quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The supporters of Kentucky Mustangs booed when Marshrose was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boyd Stubbs didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santiago Hatch acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 29th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dane Ball. In the 36th minute, Alphonse Ring left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marshrose fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Tyrone McCracken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jame Gilliam in the 39th minute of play. Vaughn Willingham charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vaughn Willingham the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Marshrose booed when Kentucky Mustangs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vaughn Willingham didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tyrone McCracken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frances Tisserand in the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vaughn Willingham to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Jame Gilliam cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Tyrone McCracken was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 58th minute of the match, Jame Gilliam tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tyrone McCracken saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Frances Tisserand came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tyrone McCracken could save by the left post. Santiago Hatch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vaughn Willingham, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 66th match minute, Kentucky Mustangs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flint Landrum to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute, Baudouin Pope hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sergio Correa was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 71 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kentucky Mustangs fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! Tyrone McCracken had in the 74thth minute some difficulties stopping Baudouin Pope's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The excitement rose when Marshrose's Baudouin Pope after 74 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Kentucky Mustangs's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 1-4. Willis Lockhart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Santiago Hatch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Frances Tisserand dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tyrone McCracken, 1-5. Tyrone McCracken didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frances Tisserand went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. In the 97th match minute, Marshrose was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pat Stoner to maneuver through the defense. The Kentucky Mustangs fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Marshrose were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
