Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Calisto Aballe started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Abecia in the 3rd minute of play forced Universitario's goalkeeper Matro Perramon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matro Perramon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Abecia in the 4th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Eugenio Abella ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matro Perramon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Matro Perramon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calisto Aballe in the 11th minute of the match. In the 14th match minute, Sportivo Chupeño was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Abella to maneuver through the defense. Turi Abenda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matro Perramon having to make a save. In the 18th minute, Raimundo Abecia made a precise shot to the right of Matro Perramon. Universitario's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Universitario's Matro Perramon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Abella in the 22nd minute of play. Calisto Aballe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Universitario's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Abella came free, but Matro Perramon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delmar Abaunza hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Karlo Gavilanes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Universitario's Karlo Gavilanes got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 35th minute Calisto Aballe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matro Perramon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vidal Cantabrana charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vidal Cantabrana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sportivo Chupeño's Calisto Aballe got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Calisto Aballe in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matro Perramon saved Universitario from getting behind. A collision led to Universitario getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Iraido Arnaez hit a great ball. A collision led to Sportivo Chupeño getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Xzavaier Abajas hit a great ball. The Universitario players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sportivo Chupeño were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andy Somellera made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Raimundo Abecia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matro Perramon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bonifacio Morentin hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Matro Perramon made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Eugenio Abella sent off a good shot on target. In the 64th match minute, Universitario was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillen Mijangos to maneuver through the defense. After 70 played minutes Sportivo Chupeño got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Abecia. In the 71st minute of the match Erasto Tella shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baiona Abadie showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Calisto Aballe's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Matro Perramon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience was convinced that Calisto Aballe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matro Perramon was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. In the 78th minute, Iraido Arnaez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Javier Villamil in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matro Perramon saved Universitario from getting behind.
