Atletico Maturrango's Xuban Llave played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Abecia in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Guilabertus Tamez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Formerio Abeita in the 11th minute of play forced Atletico Maturrango's goalkeeper Xuban Llave to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the game, Atletico Maturrango's Xzavaier Barsi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xuban Llave took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Formerio Abeita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the match, Xzavaier Barsi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olayo Abella. Nacional Potosí's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xzavaier Barsi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. The Atletico Maturrango fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Nacional Potosí were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
