Torres Ororbia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ladio Sabuco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torres Ororbia having to interfere. In the 20th minute Luciano Monzonis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tercero Arriete saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moreta Vadillos hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Torres Ororbia acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 22nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Goizeder Ruberte. After 24 played minutes Real Dracul Medellín got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldo Bao. 26 minutes into the match, UD ZAS's goal looked a bit too open when Ladio Sabuco came free, but Torres Ororbia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Torres Ororbia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vimaro Barzana, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. When Luciano Monzonis fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UD ZAS's protests and gave Luciano Monzonis a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to UD ZAS getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Luciano Monzonis hit a great ball. With a little luck, UD ZAS's Torres Ororbia got control of the ball when Ladio Sabuco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xinaro Ebro to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sergio Abeita got free with Tercero Arriete in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of UD ZAS booed when Real Dracul Medellín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natan Blanco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute of the match UD ZAS got a corner. Real Dracul Medellín's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Urbes Olavarria ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on UD ZAS's corner Urbes Olavarria fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tercero Arriete quite easily take care of the ball. 63 minutes into the match, UD ZAS's goal looked a bit too open when Cordeara Almenara came free, but Torres Ororbia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, UD ZAS's Luciano Monzonis seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Luciano Monzonis the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of UD ZAS protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Luciano Monzonis had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, UD ZAS's Luciano Monzonis got a free kick in the 65th minute. Torres Ororbia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladio Sabuco in the 67th minute of play. Jimmy Cimas charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jimmy Cimas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 75th match minute, Real Dracul Medellín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cordeara Almenara to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute, Sergio Abeita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cordeara Almenara during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Real Dracul Medellín's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
