Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cyrus Crouch started the match with the kick off. After 6 minutes of play, Cosmos Soccer Club's Marcus Maher made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carmelo Gartzea was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carmelo Gartzea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcus Maher in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute, Silvano Peru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carmelo Gartzea was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Marcus Maher capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcus Maher really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Cosmos Soccer Club's Russ Thorne got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Russ Thorne got free with Carmelo Gartzea in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Camilo Bladi's late challenge caught a Cosmos Soccer Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Bladi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 22nd minute, Camilo Bladi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Camilo Bladi was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 25 minutes had been played. A collision led to Colosos Afc getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Camilo Bladi hit a great ball. In the 27th match minute, Cosmos Soccer Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Russ Thorne to maneuver through the defense. Carmelo Gartzea made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Marcus Maher sent off a good shot on target. Carmelo Gartzea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Maher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute Cyrus Crouch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmelo Gartzea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nestor Sandalio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

52 minutes into the match, Cosmos Soccer Club's goalkeeper Bruce Nesbitt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nestor Sandalio. The supporters of Cosmos Soccer Club booed when Colosos Afc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prospero Ishmael didn't get a good kick on the ball. Russ Thorne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmelo Gartzea having to interfere. If Miguel Beltre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd match minute, Colosos Afc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Orixe to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Colosos Afc's zone, Marcus Maher stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carmelo Gartzea came out of the goal and Marcus Maher tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st minute of the match Weldon Velasco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carmelo Gartzea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Colosos Afc's goal looked a bit too open when Russ Thorne came free, but Carmelo Gartzea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carmelo Gartzea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Russ Thorne in the 94th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cosmos Soccer Club fans cheered their team off the field, for while Colosos Afc had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
