In the 37th minute, Cosmos Soccer Club's Russ Thorne dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. Quinto Nuevo made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Cyrus Crouch sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Cosmos Soccer Club getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Russ Thorne hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cyrus Crouch made a kick off. Bruce Nesbitt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Jaimes, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Mitxaut Armenteros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Bruce Nesbitt made a huge save. After 70 played minutes Cosmos Soccer Club got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Beltre. After 76 minutes Cosmos Soccer Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. Zoil Anaya hit a great ball. The Cosmos Soccer Club support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
