Battle of death
Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Diómedes Rodriguez started the match with the kick off. If Claude Vilter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claude Vilter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Brandao having to interfere. Recolta Alamor's Eldon Mills got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raul Brandao didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eldon Mills went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 11th minute of the match, Andres Villalobos got a very nice opportunity to score, but German Whitley was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Alejandro Muñoz kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. If Claude Vilter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Diómedes Rodriguez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of German Whitley. That made the score 1-1 after 17 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Eldon Mills managed to get in a good position for a shot. Recolta Alamor's supporters rose to their feet, but Eldon Mills was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raul Brandao breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd minute, Felipe Jacques made a precise shot to the right of Raul Brandao. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Claude Vilter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raul Brandao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Jacques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Raul Brandao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claude Vilter in the 31st minute of play. Felipe Jacques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute, Felipe Jacques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 38th minute, Claude Vilter made a precise shot to the right of Raul Brandao. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. After a rather tough play, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Cheito Mota got a free kick in the 44th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claude Vilter made a kick off. Claude Vilter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Raul Brandao made a huge save. In the 60th match minute, Recolta Alamor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vern Smalls to maneuver through the defense. When Recolta Alamor's Claude Vilter in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goalie prevented a goal. 69 minutes into the match, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goal looked a bit too open when Claude Vilter came free, but Raul Brandao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armando Arroyo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 71 minutes into the match. In the 71st match minute, Recolta Alamor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Arroyo to maneuver through the defense. When Edgardo Arias came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgardo Arias couldn't finish the play. Eldon Mills fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Brandao having to interfere. Edgardo Arias hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute of the match Terrell McCracken shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raul Brandao showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 91st minute Marlin Cano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Brandao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Eldon Mills got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Recolta Alamor's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
