Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's Lavallén Oca couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 8th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Toqui Fc. Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's López Carillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Víctor Javier Bernal in the 16th minute of play. After some careless play in the Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato defense, Angelo Arce kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of López Carillo. The Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that López Carillo should have stopped the shot. In the 24th minute of the match, Víctor Javier Bernal got a very nice opportunity to score, but López Carillo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Lavallén Oca hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xeromo Agraña in the 32nd minute of play forced Toqui Fc's goalkeeper Angelillo Barnard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's López Carillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Demetrio Martini in the 33rd minute of play. Jesus Egaña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's Lavallén Oca suffered a sore foot after 56 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Alvar Justiniano's late challenge caught a Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alvar Justiniano helped the player get up and apologised. Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's Fabio Ponce was substituted for Lavallén Oca. Alvar Justiniano hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Martos in the 78th minute of play forced Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's goalkeeper López Carillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 80 minutes of play, Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's Jesus Egaña made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angelillo Barnard was left in no man's land by his defense there!
