After a rather tough play, Toqui Fc's Alvar Justiniano got a free kick in the 13th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Toqui Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Renato Abufom came free, but Angelillo Barnard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sarracino Mandiola in the 29th minute of play forced Toqui Fc's goalkeeper Angelillo Barnard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Maxín Camara fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Toqui Fc's protests and gave Maxín Camara a yellow card for diving instead. After 31 played minutes Toqui Fc got a freekick which was hit by Maxín Camara. After recieving a nice pass, Club Deportivo Xpertin's Renato Abufom tried to score from far away in the 31st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of Toqui Fc booed when Club Deportivo Xpertin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Barcelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Paco Castellon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Toqui Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Paco Castellon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Gajardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Angelillo Barnard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Barcelo in the 44th minute of the match. Angelillo Barnard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Manuel Gajardo in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
