After some careless play in the Informaniaticos defense, Xacintu Angosto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulino Lizardi. The Informaniaticos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulino Lizardi should have stopped the shot. 9 minutes into the game, Ciro Luar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Informaniaticos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Golden Dragón F.C the free kick. Ciro Luar kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Paulino Lizardi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paskal Panguision in the 14th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victoriano Maxin during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th minute, Victoriano Maxin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute of the match Cerilo Valben shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulino Lizardi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Zeledon Dorio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilio Colomes having to interfere. In the 25th match minute, Golden Dragón F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cerilo Valben to maneuver through the defense. Lucio Gregory sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 38 minutes into the match, Informaniaticos's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Loaisa came free, but Paulino Lizardi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zeledon Dorio might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Basilio Colomes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zeledon Dorio ran back to his position shaking his head. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucio Gregory to make the kick off. Lucio Gregory sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Lucio Gregory had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucio Gregory hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After 69 minutes, Lucio Gregory mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Informaniaticos and the Golden Dragón F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 69th match minute, Informaniaticos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucio Gregory to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Edgardo Loaisa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Paulino Lizardi. That made the score 1-2 in the 71 minute of play. Eduardo Benvido kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Informaniaticos's Paulino Lizardi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Informaniaticos from getting a goal against them. Basilio Colomes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marciano Estebe in the 85th minute of the match. In the 88th minute Lucio Gregory shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Colomes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marciano Estebe might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Basilio Colomes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marciano Estebe ran back to his position shaking his head. Informaniaticos succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Golden Dragón F.C had controlled the match.
