A collision led to Todos al Fondo getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Elazar Bañuelos hit a great ball. Bittor Marchamalo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xencio Rebollar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 7 minutes of play, Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's Neicer Maltrana made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bittor Marchamalo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ugutz Suero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gorbea Helguera in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th match minute, Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector-Luis Cadrecha to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, Todos al Fondo's goal looked a bit too open when Quiróz Maquiano came free, but Bittor Marchamalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neicer Maltrana scored 0-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bittor Marchamalo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 26 minutes into the match, Neicer Maltrana notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Todos al Fondo's Bittor Marchamalo. Bittor Marchamalo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bittor Marchamalo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xencio Rebollar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Todos al Fondo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato were winning 1-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeraldo Orruma stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ugutz Suero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeraldo Orruma in the 50th minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Todos al Fondo's Bide Bizoso broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 64th match minute, Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Archibeque to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute, Bide Bizoso made a precise shot to the right of Ugutz Suero. Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. The crowd rose to their feet as Xencio Rebollar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bittor Marchamalo. That made the score 2-5 in the 68 minute of play. Terciero Bodon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ugutz Suero having to make a save. Bittor Marchamalo made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Neicer Maltrana sent off a good shot on target. Ugutz Suero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Terciero Bodon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Todos al Fondo's Osoitz Lombillo got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 83 minutes into the match, Neicer Maltrana notched a goal, 2-6, to the right of Todos al Fondo's Bittor Marchamalo. Bittor Marchamalo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Todos al Fondo booed when Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xencio Rebollar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ugutz Suero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeraldo Orruma in the 91st minute of the match. Jeraldo Orruma took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ugutz Suero. Ugutz Suero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-6. The Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
