Jerrod Hope tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th match minute, Black Knights FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Riggs to maneuver through the defense. Gayle Darling took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lionel Aviles. Black Knights FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A hard shot by Irving Dennis from long distance, 31 minutes into the match, got Lionel Aviles's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Louie Andrews kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Lionel Aviles made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Wilfred Fleming sent off a good shot on target. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Graham to make the kick off.
