The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Balasi Balza's late challenge caught a Borussia Dortmund's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Balasi Balza helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Swift GTi getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Balasi Balza hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Swift GTi's Balasi Balza got a free kick in the 4th minute. Alberto Tafoya scored 1-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcelino Asomoza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hernan Neriz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Israel Roza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the match, Swift GTi's goal looked a bit too open when Estebano Reganado came free, but Marcelino Asomoza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Borussia Dortmund's Alberto Tafoya slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcelino Asomoza. That made the score 2-0 after 13 minutes of play. Israel Roza struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Hernan Neriz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Swift GTi. 20 minutes into the game, Borussia Dortmund's Valiente Marino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcelino Asomoza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Marcelino Asomoza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Estebano Reganado in the 23rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Valiente Marino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcelino Asomoza. That made the score 5-0 in the 30 minute of play. After 34 minutes of play, Borussia Dortmund's Alberto Tafoya made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelino Asomoza was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 37th match minute, Swift GTi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedroso Rosario to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Swift GTi's zone, Valiente Marino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelino Asomoza came out of the goal and Valiente Marino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Borussia Dortmund booed when Swift GTi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Madaleno Gegunde didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Sotil Cerdeño charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sotil Cerdeño the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 52 played minutes Borussia Dortmund got a freekick which was hit by Sotil Cerdeño. In the 53rd match minute, Swift GTi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horacio Piñeiros to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Tafoya in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelino Asomoza saved Swift GTi from getting behind. Flor Orbaneja hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Swift GTi fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! 66 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund's goal looked a bit too open when Guillen Garviras came free, but Hernan Neriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Tafoya took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelino Asomoza. Marcelino Asomoza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Israel Roza in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hernan Neriz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcelino Asomoza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafoya in the 74th minute of the match. Marcelino Asomoza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafoya, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute, Alberto Tafoya ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelino Asomoza was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. In the 84th match minute, Borussia Dortmund was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Tafoya to maneuver through the defense. Balasi Balza hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. The supporters of Swift GTi booed when Borussia Dortmund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Demesio Tarapiella didn't get a good kick on the ball. Borussia Dortmund's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
