Gayle Darling's late challenge caught a Ornopata's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gayle Darling helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Gayle Darling got a free kick in the 6th minute. Moreno Conti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerrod Hope having to interfere. Vasco Tu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baptiste Beck went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 20th match minute, Ornopata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Hurones to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 21 minutes, Arlen Daly managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arlen Daly was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Sport Lisboa e Benfica fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Francisco Graham looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 31st minute Francisco Graham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vasco Tu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ornopata's Vasco Tu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Ornopata from getting a goal against them. Vasco Tu made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Antonia Webb sent off a good shot on target. Francisco Graham did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Vasco Tu 42 minutes into the match. In the 46th match minute, Ornopata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Hurones to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ornopata's goalkeeper Vasco Tu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Francisco Graham to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacinto Hurones during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ornopata's Jacinto Hurones got a free kick in the 51st minute. Vasco Tu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francisco Graham's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. The audience was convinced that Francisco Graham's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vasco Tu was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. In the 60thth minute of the game Francisco Graham who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ornopata's Vasco Tu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Ornopata's goal looked a bit too open when Baptiste Beck came free, but Vasco Tu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
