Tomaso Ulloa kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Nardo Abadia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max De Paredes having to interfere. Arotza Abajas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Max De Paredes having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erdiano Abalos got free with Max De Paredes in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in ORION F.C.'s zone, Loreto Abaurre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Max De Paredes came out of the goal and Loreto Abaurre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 22 minutes into the match, ORION F.C.'s Julio Mora sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Espiridion Abecia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Loreto Abaurre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kalatakaya F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Max De Paredes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Etxahun Abastas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erdiano Abalos hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Eduardo Calderón's late challenge caught a Kalatakaya F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduardo Calderón helped the player get up and apologised. After 34 played minutes ORION F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Calderón. Nardo Abadia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arotza Abajas to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Loreto Abaurre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Max De Paredes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 53 minutes into the match, ORION F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Abascal came free, but Max De Paredes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
