Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Frances Gacitúa made the kick off and thus started the match. If Frances Gacitúa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the match, CSD Concepción's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Vodanovic came free, but Celedonio Latapiat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Colo-Colo getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Arnau Ramos hit a great ball. After 15 minutes, Frances Gacitúa made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Colo-Colo's Salomone Comas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. CSD Concepción's Bayron Landaeta got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Frances Gacitúa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Salomone Comas was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. The supporters of CSD Concepción booed when Colo-Colo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Washington Davalos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Colo-Colo's goal looked a bit too open when Frances Gacitúa came free, but Salomone Comas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Andrés Warnes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Teofilo Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arnau Ramos took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celedonio Latapiat. Celedonio Latapiat dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 40 played minutes CSD Concepción got a freekick which was hit by Baraquiel Markmann. Victor Hugo Federici struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Celedonio Latapiat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colo-Colo. Arnau Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Celedonio Latapiat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roland Vodanovic was the one to do the kick off. Celedonio Latapiat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victor Hugo Federici's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Celedonio Latapiat came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Colo-Colo's Victor Hugo Federici. But to his dismay, Victor Hugo Federici quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After some careless play in the CSD Concepción defense, Arnau Ramos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celedonio Latapiat. The CSD Concepción fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celedonio Latapiat should have stopped the shot. The supporters of CSD Concepción booed when Colo-Colo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Vodanovic didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victor Hugo Federici hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute Teofilo Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salomone Comas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Colo-Colo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Bayron Landaeta scored to the left of an out of position Salomone Comas, making the score, 3-2. 77 minutes into the match, Colo-Colo's goalkeeper Salomone Comas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luis María Camacho. Frances Gacitúa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bayron Landaeta succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-3 in the 85th playminute. 90 minutes into the match, Frances Gacitúa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Salomone Comas, 3-4. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colo-Colo's goalkeeper Salomone Comas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. CSD Concepción's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
