Francisco Javier Millapan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 11th minute Bayron Landaeta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Javier Millapan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 13 minutes, Alesandro Zubelzu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alesandro Zubelzu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Francisco Javier Millapan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bayron Landaeta, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 19th play minutes Frances Gacitúa shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Francisco Javier Millapan and just under the crossbar into goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frances Gacitúa in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alesandro Zubelzu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luis María Camacho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute of the match Marco Finlay sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Francisco Javier Millapan skillfully saved the ball. When Frances Gacitúa came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the CSD Concepción fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frances Gacitúa couldn't finish the play.
