Francisco Florian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ORION F.C.. Francisco Florian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Briceño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. San Pablo FC's Francisco Florian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Mora in the 6th minute of play. ORION F.C.'s Julio Mora got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Briceño in the 11th minute of play forced San Pablo FC's goalkeeper Francisco Florian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Florian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Mora in the 13th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, San Pablo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo De Paredes came free, but Francisco Florian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Mariano Haritz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Pablo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ORION F.C. the free kick. In the 21st minute, Mariano Haritz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ORION F.C.'s Juan Briceño got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 23 played minutes San Pablo FC got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Umea. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Briceño during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to ORION F.C. getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Juan Briceño hit a great ball. Eduardo Chayo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Max De Paredes made a huge save. After 38 minutes, Fernando Gomez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ORION F.C. and the San Pablo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to ORION F.C. getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Fernando Gomez hit a great ball. Julio Mora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Florian having to interfere. Isidoro Gaueko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After a rather tough play, ORION F.C.'s Julio Mora got a free kick in the 51st minute. Max De Paredes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Gaueko in the 54th minute of play. After 56 played minutes ORION F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Cesar Ríos. Julio Mora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Florian having to interfere. A collision led to ORION F.C. getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Gustavo De Paredes hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, San Pablo FC's Isidoro Gaueko got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 62nd minute, one of San Pablo FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for San Pablo FC. If Julio Mora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 76th minute, Cleto Bingen made a precise shot to the right of Max De Paredes. ORION F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 80 minutes into the match, San Pablo FC's Victoriano Feo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Max De Paredes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 93 played minutes ORION F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Herrera. Max De Paredes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Gaueko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard and well directed shot from Isidoro Gaueko led 98 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. ORION F.C.'s Max De Paredes became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 3-1.
