An unexpectedly hard shot by Donald Kearns in the 4th minute of play forced U. de Tarapacá's goalkeeper Mariano Talledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Blanco Paris quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. U. de Tarapacá's Mariano Talledo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save U. de Tarapacá from getting a goal against them. After 21 played minutes U. de Tarapacá got a freekick which was hit by Velasco Oñate. After 23 played minutes U. de Tarapacá got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Tomás Berau. Mariano Talledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horace Vaughn, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Orval Crow could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Mariano Talledo made a huge save. Blanco Paris's late challenge caught a Flames FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Blanco Paris helped the player get up and apologised. After 43 played minutes U. de Tarapacá got a freekick which was hit by Blanco Paris. In the 44th minute of the match Chase Hale sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mariano Talledo skillfully saved the ball. Val Quera kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Blanco Paris made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Horace Vaughn left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flames FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in U. de Tarapacá's zone, Valère Flowers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mariano Talledo came out of the goal and Valère Flowers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 59 minutes into the match, U. de Tarapacá's goal looked a bit too open when Horace Vaughn came free, but Mariano Talledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Orval Crow had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mariano Talledo. U. de Tarapacá's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Orval Crow was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. The supporters of Flames FC booed when U. de Tarapacá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Pozo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flames FC made a substitution. Darin Nunn replaced Chase Hale. After 70 played minutes U. de Tarapacá got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Pozo. After 71 played minutes, Flames FC's Valère Flowers shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mariano Talledo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Flames FC reached it. Mariano Talledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orval Crow, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Tomás Berau got free with Jerrod Staples in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
