Faro Querijazu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilfredo Lluc hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute of the match Guillelmo Gota shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silvano Benat showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 15th minute Gilberto Cena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvano Benat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hermosillo FC's Silvano Benat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Cena in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Dionisio Jokin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Guido Folgoso, 1-0. In the 30thth minute of the game Ubendu Loyas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hermosillo FC's Silvano Benat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gilberto Cena struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Silvano Benat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Dionisio Jokin took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Guido Folgoso to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ivan Toli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafin Lain in the 54th minute of play forced ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s goalkeeper Guido Folgoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s Guido Folgoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Toli in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute Ivan Toli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guido Folgoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, Ubendu Loyas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hermosillo FC the free kick. In the 66th minute, Dionisio Jokin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hermosillo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. In the 71st minute of the match Gustavo Lizar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Guido Folgoso skillfully saved the ball. In the 80th minute Dionisio Jokin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guido Folgoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guido Folgoso came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Hermosillo FC's Dionisio Jokin. But to his dismay, Dionisio Jokin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Dionisio Jokin scored 8-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guido Folgoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► booed when Hermosillo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafin Lain didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 91 minutes, Ubendu Loyas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ubendu Loyas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dionisio Jokin kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Ivan Toli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guido Folgoso. ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ivan Toli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. Hermosillo FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
