Rusty Deering made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Gines in the 35th minute of play. Enrique Peterson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Bartolo Misael made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Galácticos del Pueblo's Cipriano Llanos got a free kick in the 44th minute. After 47 played minutes ForestFire got a freekick which was hit by Max Hawthorne.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tuan Zimmerman made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tuan Zimmerman in the 53rd minute of play forced Galácticos del Pueblo's goalkeeper Bartolo Misael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of ForestFire booed when Galácticos del Pueblo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano Llanos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rusty Deering tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Basilio Bittor fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galácticos del Pueblo's protests and gave Basilio Bittor a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Galácticos del Pueblo getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Basilio Bittor hit a great ball. Galácticos del Pueblo's Bartolo Misael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tuan Zimmerman in the 75th minute of play. After having played for 76 minutes, Paolo Gines managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galácticos del Pueblo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paolo Gines was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paolo Gines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th match minute, ForestFire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tuan Zimmerman to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the match, Galácticos del Pueblo's goal looked a bit too open when Tuan Zimmerman came free, but Bartolo Misael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
