Lucas Palacios could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Quico Abadia made a huge save. El Pulpo Paceño's Quico Abadia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save El Pulpo Paceño from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Casey Redmond got free with Quico Abadia in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Quico Abadia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rashad Werner in the 10th minute of play. In the 10th match minute, El Pulpo Paceño was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rufio Abeita to maneuver through the defense. Evis Abascal kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Lucas Palacios scored 1-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Quico Abadia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rashad Werner got free with Quico Abadia in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Inigo Abechuco in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Archie McCracken saved Dep. Moron from getting behind. Lucas Palacios kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, Rashad Werner recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Quico Abadia. Rashad Werner showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. A sloppy throw-in by Kaxen Abastas in the 26th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Dep. Moron's Gordon Ayala. Rufio Abeita's late challenge caught a Dep. Moron's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rufio Abeita helped the player get up and apologised. After 27 played minutes El Pulpo Paceño got a freekick which was hit by Rufio Abeita. After a rather tough play, Dep. Moron's Casey Redmond got a free kick in the 29th minute. Rashad Werner had several of the El Pulpo Paceño's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 41 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Quico Abadia as he didn't even see the shot coming. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucas Palacios stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Quico Abadia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casey Redmond, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. A collision led to El Pulpo Paceño getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Evis Abascal hit a great ball. Quico Abadia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rashad Werner in the 54th minute of the match. Archie McCracken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesus Abaurre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Aranda kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th minute of the match Inigo Abechuco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Archie McCracken showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 66th minute, one of Dep. Moron:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dep. Moron. In the 69th minute there was a penalty for El Pulpo Paceño. Inigo Abechuco stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Archie McCracken. 3-1. In the 71st match minute, Dep. Moron was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Palacios to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jesus Abaurre in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Archie McCracken saved Dep. Moron from getting behind. 77 minutes into the game, Lucas Palacios cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Quico Abadia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Rolando Aranda fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dep. Moron's protests and gave Rolando Aranda a yellow card for diving instead. Archie McCracken had in the 81stth minute some difficulties stopping Inigo Abechuco's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Lucas Palacios struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Quico Abadia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dep. Moron. El Pulpo Paceño's Rufio Abeita got his second yellow card of the match in the 90th minute. The referee ordered Rufio Abeita off the ground. After 90 played minutes El Pulpo Paceño got a freekick which was hit by Rufio Abeita. 91 minutes into the match, Dep. Moron's Gordon Ayala broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 95thth minute of the game Casey Redmond who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Pulpo Paceño's Quico Abadia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
