When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Patricio Tamajon took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Paulo Chandivilla to make any attempt to save it. Sandro Gener fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sagrario Paniagua having to interfere. Sandro Gener sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 20 played minutes Red Reign got a freekick which was hit by Saritama Durana. Sandro Gener sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the match, CD Municipal's goal looked a bit too open when German Vedeja came free, but Sagrario Paniagua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Chandivilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Tamajon, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 34th minute Xan Revillas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Chandivilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, CD Municipal's Paulo Chandivilla threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Patricio Tamajon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sagrario Paniagua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandro Gener, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. German Vedeja scored 1-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sagrario Paniagua, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Saritama Durana's late challenge caught a CD Municipal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saritama Durana helped the player get up and apologised. Saritama Durana hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the match, CD Municipal's goal looked a bit too open when German Vedeja came free, but Sagrario Paniagua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sagrario Paniagua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moreta Somonte in the 47th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Xan Revillas made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santxo Saboya during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Sagrario Paniagua successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Xan Revillas came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the CD Municipal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xan Revillas couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling German Vedeja in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sagrario Paniagua prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pedro Coz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sagrario Paniagua having to make a save. Gaztea Rubin kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Red Reign's German Vedeja slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sagrario Paniagua. That made the score 4-2 after 85 minutes of play. Patricio Tamajon's late challenge caught a Red Reign's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Tamajon helped the player get up and apologised. In the 89th minute, Patricio Tamajon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th match minute, CD Municipal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xan Revillas to maneuver through the defense. German Vedeja might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sagrario Paniagua. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. German Vedeja ran back to his position shaking his head. 96 minutes into the game, German Vedeja lined in a short shot 4-3 behind a frustrated Sagrario Paniagua. The CD Municipal support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
