The tension between the Austral FC and the Brooklyn SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 2nd match minute, Austral FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xabat Vivera to maneuver through the defense. After 4 played minutes Austral FC got a freekick which was hit by Xabat Vivera. In the 8th minute, Marcones Viesca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Glen Goode was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 11 minutes of play, Austral FC's Bernardo Abaurre made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Glen Goode was left in no man's land by his defense there! Glen Goode showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Messia, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aaron Gunn got free with Quexal Raigal in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Malvin Llacin fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Austral FC's protests and gave Malvin Llacin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Austral FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Malvin Llacin hit a great ball. After 20 played minutes Brooklyn SC got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Gunn. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcones Viesca in the 25th minute of play forced Brooklyn SC's goalkeeper Glen Goode to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Glen Goode showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcones Viesca, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Brooklyn SC's Pascal Dailey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Quexal Raigal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Malvin Llacin got his second yellow card in the match during the 38th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Brooklyn SC booed when Austral FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malvin Llacin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Darnell Watts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quexal Raigal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Gunn, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Glen Goode made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Abaurre in the 45th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enetz Diestro to make the kick off. Bernardo Abaurre charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardo Abaurre the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 53rd match minute, Austral FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Abaurre to maneuver through the defense. Glen Goode made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcones Viesca in the 56th minute of play. 66 minutes into the game, Pascal Dailey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brooklyn SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Austral FC the free kick. In the 66th minute, Pascal Dailey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darnell Watts in the 70th minute of play forced Austral FC's goalkeeper Quexal Raigal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardo Abaurre kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Randall Haynes hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. When Marcones Viesca came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Austral FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcones Viesca couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Brooklyn SC booed when Austral FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hustaz Ascot didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Brooklyn SC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Austral FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
