Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) RamPa Football Club's Ramon Grondona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Ospetsu Gene hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute Ramon Grondona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rusty Little saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th match minute, RamPa Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Nesta to maneuver through the defense. Lixandro Carbo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sherwood Franks in the 10th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Ramon Grondona's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rusty Little was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. In the 26th minute, Victor Hess made a precise shot to the right of Lixandro Carbo. RamPa Football Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. RamPa Football Club's Lixandro Carbo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Hess in the 30th minute of play. Lixandro Carbo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Desmond Rowell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute Sherwood Franks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lixandro Carbo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rusty Little made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victorio Pazo in the 37th minute. After 41 played minutes Santos FC got a freekick which was hit by Sherwood Franks. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victorio Pazo got free with Rusty Little in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half Santos FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victor Hess made a kick off. Rusty Little took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Txema Burgoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of RamPa Football Club booed when Santos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lawrence Smart didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lixandro Carbo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Hess in the 62nd minute of play. Lixandro Carbo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Victor Hess showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 62 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Desmond Rowell in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lixandro Carbo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 70th match minute, Santos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Hess to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute, Victorio Pazo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Hess in the 79th minute of play forced RamPa Football Club's goalkeeper Lixandro Carbo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Santos FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Rodrick Orlinsky hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Santos FC's zone, Ospetsu Gene stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rusty Little came out of the goal and Ospetsu Gene tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd minute of the match Ospetsu Gene sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rusty Little skillfully saved the ball. Ramon Grondona struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Rusty Little didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RamPa Football Club. The Santos FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Santos FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
