Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) When Victor Toledano came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Buenaventura FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Toledano couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Buenaventura FC's Ulpiano Henríguez got a free kick in the 17th minute. The supporters of Águilas Poblanas booed when Buenaventura FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Ramírez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Buenaventura FC's goalkeeper Jorge Oberto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Desiderio Handi put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jorge Oberto. 26 minutes into the match, Buenaventura FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Chabier came free, but Jorge Oberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cornelio Mino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Toledano in the 35th minute of the match. Zeledon Matthew received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Jorge Oberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Águilas Poblanas's Moises Nisio got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Orlando Ramírez scored 1-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cornelio Mino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Águilas Poblanas's Cayetano Remir was substituted for Moises Nisio. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Orlando Ramírez made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desiderio Handi in the 55th minute of play forced Buenaventura FC's goalkeeper Jorge Oberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorge Oberto came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Águilas Poblanas's Virgilio Guerau. But to his dismay, Virgilio Guerau quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After a rather tough play, Águilas Poblanas's Roberto Mateus got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Victor Toledano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cornelio Mino made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Orlando Ramírez sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Águilas Poblanas's Cornelio Mino got control of the ball when Orlando Ramírez tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Ramírez in the 79th minute of play forced Águilas Poblanas's goalkeeper Cornelio Mino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the game, Carmelo Bilintx was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Águilas Poblanas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buenaventura FC the free kick. A collision led to Águilas Poblanas getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Carmelo Bilintx hit a great ball. Cayetano Remir scored 3-1 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jorge Oberto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jorge Oberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgilio Guerau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ulpiano Henríguez kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Enrique Gómez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There was no doubt that Águilas Poblanas were the better team. Águilas Poblanas's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
