Miguel Hernánde Tellez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Isidro Camara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Magallanes's goalkeeper Isidro Camara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Isidro Camara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferrán Sarratea in the 20th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Gonzalo Perl sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ballet Azul's Victorio Lorie didn't even have to move. Antonio Mackenzie charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antonio Mackenzie the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Angelo Aracena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Victorio Lorie made a huge save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
