Xever Yanes charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xever Yanes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mati Gavilanes came out of the goal and Etxatxu Carretero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Ysidro Guadiana made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Linterna verde getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Inge Silva hit a great ball. In the 52nd minute Xever Yanes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vellito Urraca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xever Yanes got free with Vellito Urraca in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mati Gavilanes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Etxatxu Carretero in the 58th minute of the match. If Etxatxu Carretero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elkin Corel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 73 played minutes Linterna verde got a freekick which was hit by Etxatxu Carretero. With a little luck, Linterna verde's Vellito Urraca got control of the ball when Xever Yanes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Linterna verde's Vellito Urraca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xever Yanes in the 81st minute of play. Vellito Urraca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Gavilanes in the 82nd minute of the match. ...Pingue S.C....'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
