An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabon Castrejana in the 34th minute of play forced Intimos de Reynoso's goalkeeper Chiquito Flores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabon Castrejana's late challenge caught a Intimos de Reynoso's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gabon Castrejana helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Deportivo Popolizio FBC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Gabon Castrejana hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Intimos de Reynoso reached it. If Aldo Popolizio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrew Manteca hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After 85 played minutes Intimos de Reynoso got a freekick which was hit by Larra Enriquez. In the 87th minute Larra Enriquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vachon Trevino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
