In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind ΠΑΟΚ FC's goalkeeper Ingvar Nykvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 41st minute Sotiris Zacharakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jude Crocker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santiago Gentiletti made in the 42nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Creekers's Veniamin Tziortzopoulos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Riley Trotter in the 47th minute of play forced ΠΑΟΚ FC's goalkeeper Ingvar Nykvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Creekers's Dalton Flaherty was substituted for William Kerns. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ladislao Gines to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 78thth minute of the game Santiago Silva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Creekers's Jude Crocker was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Saverio Vistruario came free with the goalkeeper in the 90th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ingvar Nykvist could save by the left post. 93 minutes into the match, ΠΑΟΚ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Gines came free, but Ingvar Nykvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santiago Silva took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jude Crocker. Jude Crocker dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. ΠΑΟΚ FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
