Drew Knight made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mitchell Godwin in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Real Chelsea's goal looked a bit too open when Marcin Cebula came free, but Drew Knight reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulysses Madureira in the 12th minute of play forced Real Chelsea's goalkeeper Drew Knight to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Bart Easton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Humberto Balendin hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Clapham Comets F.C.'s Ariel Leguizamón proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Clapham Comets F.C. from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mitchell Godwin in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Drew Knight saved Real Chelsea from getting behind. After 20 minutes Real Chelsea's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ulysses Madureira who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Jonathan Willetts almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Real Chelsea's Drew Knight did a great save. Timothy Thorne kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. A collision led to Real Chelsea getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Malcolm Adcock hit a great ball. When Clapham Comets F.C.'s Mitchell Godwin in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Gus Weir's late challenge caught a Clapham Comets F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gus Weir helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th minute, Gus Weir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aaron Rambo in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Drew Knight prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 33 minutes into the match, Aaron Rambo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Real Chelsea's Drew Knight. Drew Knight was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 35 minutes into the match, Real Chelsea's goal looked a bit too open when Ulysses Madureira came free, but Drew Knight reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Real Chelsea's Drew Knight played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulysses Madureira in the 36th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Ulysses Madureira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Drew Knight. Real Chelsea's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ulysses Madureira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Chelsea's goalkeeper Drew Knight, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Mitchell Godwin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Drew Knight having to interfere. 61 minutes into the game, Mitchell Godwin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Drew Knight. Mitchell Godwin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Ulysses Madureira put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Drew Knight. If Ulysses Madureira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Real Chelsea's Tris Ruddock was substituted for Gus Weir. Real Chelsea made a substitution. Barney Yeo replaced Jude Doyle. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulysses Madureira got free with Drew Knight in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ariel Leguizamón showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timothy Thorne, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulysses Madureira in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Drew Knight prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 85 minutes into the match, Jonathan Willetts notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Real Chelsea's Drew Knight. Drew Knight was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Clapham Comets F.C. made a substitution. Alistair Brent replaced Humberto Balendin. Drew Knight made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Marcin Cebula sent off a good shot on target. Drew Knight made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulysses Madureira in the 90th minute. With a little luck, Real Chelsea's Drew Knight got control of the ball when Marcin Cebula tried to sneak it across the goal line. Drew Knight took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulysses Madureira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Clapham Comets F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Clapham Comets F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
