Alejo Calixto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Edelmiro Peruxu made a huge save. A collision led to Frontera AFC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Filomeno Blai hit a great ball. In the 29thth minute of the game Valentin Platon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Frontera AFC's Gaspar Primo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Frontera AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Clodoveo Filipo came free, but Gaspar Primo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaspar Primo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Lawrence in the 32nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maximiliano Eguen during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 34 played minutes El retorno del Pincha got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Lawrence. In the 38th minute Valentin Platon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Primo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, El retorno del Pincha's goalkeeper Edelmiro Peruxu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matias Clementi. Gaspar Primo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abelardo Lawrence's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Gaspar Primo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clodoveo Filipo, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After a rather tough play, Frontera AFC's Benigno Aresti got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 48th match minute, El retorno del Pincha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaias Matro to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Abelardo Lawrence recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 55 minutes into the match, El retorno del Pincha's goal looked a bit too open when Alejo Calixto came free, but Edelmiro Peruxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jimeno Oriche scored 0-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaspar Primo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Frontera AFC's Filomeno Blai got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd match minute, El retorno del Pincha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Erauso to maneuver through the defense. When Matias Clementi fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Frontera AFC's protests and gave Matias Clementi a yellow card for diving instead. Valentin Platon struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Gaspar Primo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El retorno del Pincha. 71 minutes into the match, Frontera AFC's goalkeeper Gaspar Primo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abelardo Lawrence. Valentin Platon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77thth minute of the game Abelardo Lawrence who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Frontera AFC's Gaspar Primo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 79th minute, El retorno del Pincha's Maximiliano Eguen seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Maximiliano Eguen the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of El retorno del Pincha protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Maximiliano Eguen had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Maximiliano Eguen hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Edelmiro Peruxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorio Gabrio in the 83rd minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. El retorno del Pincha had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
