Hugo Orlando Gatti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andoni Ascarza in the 10th minute of play. Atlético Grau Piura's Tartalo Delatorre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bolo Bolaño in the 12th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Atlético Grau Piura's goal looked a bit too open when Bolo Bolaño came free, but Tartalo Delatorre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tartalo Delatorre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bolo Bolaño in the 15th minute of the match. Atlético Grau Piura's Tartalo Delatorre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bolo Bolaño in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bolo Bolaño in the 25th minute of play forced Atlético Grau Piura's goalkeeper Tartalo Delatorre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Grau Piura's goalkeeper Tartalo Delatorre, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 31 minutes into the match, Consejo del Mate's goal looked a bit too open when Junior Quintana came free, but Hugo Orlando Gatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Thor Reyes in the 40th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Consejo del Mate's Fagildo Pamanes. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vicente Santana to make the kick off. The throw-in from Domenico Calcio in the 54th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Consejo del Mate's Fagildo Pamanes. 55 minutes into the match, Atlético Grau Piura's goal looked a bit too open when Bolo Bolaño came free, but Tartalo Delatorre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 66 minutes of play, Consejo del Mate's Bolo Bolaño made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tartalo Delatorre was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tartalo Delatorre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peyo Fonelleda in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bolo Bolaño in the 71st minute of play forced Atlético Grau Piura's goalkeeper Tartalo Delatorre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Consejo del Mate's Bolo Bolaño sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tartalo Delatorre narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tartalo Delatorre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bolo Bolaño in the 78th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Bolo Bolaño's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tartalo Delatorre was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Grau Piura's goalkeeper Tartalo Delatorre, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Grau Piura's zone, Ervin Alla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tartalo Delatorre came out of the goal and Ervin Alla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tartalo Delatorre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bolo Bolaño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes in the game Francisco Conceicão did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Leobardo Tojedo. Consejo del Mate's attentive Fagildo Pamanes managed to snatch the ball when Thor Reyes made a throw-in in the 90th minute of the game. Tartalo Delatorre came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Consejo del Mate's Peyo Fonelleda. But to his dismay, Peyo Fonelleda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The supporters of Atlético Grau Piura booed when Consejo del Mate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ervin Alla didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Atlético Grau Piura players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Consejo del Mate.
