In the 13th minute of the match SC Pfullendorf got a corner. Falckner FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. David Moya ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 16th minute, Qwinton Blazquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Loco De la Maza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Argyris Zagorakis in the 19th minute of the match. Argyris Zagorakis spun around in front of the goal 21 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Falckner FC's goal. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Kong Guo Chong took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Loco De la Maza to make any attempt to save it. The SC Pfullendorf fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when SC Pfullendorf's Argyris Zagorakis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Argyris Zagorakis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Loco De la Maza when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Kıvanç Yücesan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gianluca Vialli in the 34th minute of play. Loco De la Maza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Argyris Zagorakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karel Van Den Abeele in the 37th minute of play forced Falckner FC's goalkeeper Loco De la Maza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Loco De la Maza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kong Guo Chong, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The Falckner FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Loco De la Maza should have stopped the shot. SC Pfullendorf's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
