Evaristo Txartiko came out of the goal and Mateo Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Evaristo Txartiko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Azevedo in the 10th minute of play. Pegaso FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Máximo Policarpio in the 11th minute. Máximo Policarpio made a great header on Pegaso FC's corner, it was just that DALO S.C.'s Evaristo Txartiko managed to reach the ball for a save. When Martin Tancredo came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Pegaso FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Tancredo couldn't finish the play. In the 19th match minute, Pegaso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Tancredo to maneuver through the defense. When Jerzy Lewandowski fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DALO S.C.'s protests and gave Jerzy Lewandowski a yellow card for diving instead. La Rompen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ariel Calleja during the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Tancredo in the 95th minute of play forced DALO S.C.'s goalkeeper Evaristo Txartiko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pegaso FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
