Silver Squad AFC's Damazy Radzyminski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Robert Davison in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 27th minute of the match Silver Squad AFC got a corner. Sportivo Luan Toro's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Henrik Ooms ran over to the corner to take the kick. Waud De Geyter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olli Fiedler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olli Fiedler took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Waud De Geyter. Waud De Geyter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bror Litenboks in the 40th minute of play forced Sportivo Luan Toro's goalkeeper Robert Davison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bror Litenboks in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robert Davison saved Sportivo Luan Toro from getting behind. Waud De Geyter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olli Fiedler, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute.

51 minutes into the match, Sportivo Luan Toro's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Carberry came free, but Robert Davison reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Silver Squad AFC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frans Van Caubergen in the 61st minute of play forced Sportivo Luan Toro's goalkeeper Robert Davison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olli Fiedler's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Waud De Geyter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Sportivo Luan Toro made a substitution. Justino Roland replaced Alberto Fidencio. After 67 minutes Silver Squad AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. But to his dismay, Martins Palermo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 85thth minute of the game Martins Palermo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Waud De Geyter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martins Palermo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Waud De Geyter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martins Palermo in the 88th minute of play. After some careless play in the Silver Squad AFC defense, Martins Palermo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Waud De Geyter. The Silver Squad AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Waud De Geyter should have stopped the shot.
