In the 29th minute, Bruno Sepúlveda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LA IMPRENTA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After some careless play in the Floripa Lions FSCMZ defense, Bruno Sepúlveda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evaristo Siqueira. The Floripa Lions FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evaristo Siqueira should have stopped the shot. Evaristo Siqueira came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by LA IMPRENTA's Alejandro Berto. But to his dismay, Alejandro Berto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Elpidio Espiridion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hortêncio Montenegro to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, LA IMPRENTA's Bruno Sepúlveda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Evaristo Siqueira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Evaristo Siqueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Espiridion in the 64th minute of play. Evaristo Siqueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Sepúlveda in the 65th minute of the match. Evaristo Siqueira made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Elpidio Espiridion sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Elpidio Espiridion took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Evaristo Siqueira to make any attempt to save it. Evaristo Siqueira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elpidio Espiridion went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. Bruno Sepúlveda took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evaristo Siqueira. Evaristo Siqueira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. In the 87th minute, Elpidio Espiridion reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Evaristo Siqueira. The goal made the score 0-11. If Elpidio Espiridion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over LA IMPRENTA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Floripa Lions FSCMZ throughout the match.
