Tony Chaves hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Serafin Manni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jailson Aparecido read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. After 18 minutes of play, México Eterno MZC's Aristide Ciuvică made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silvio Bazil was left in no man's land by his defense there! Silvio Bazil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristide Ciuvică in the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Fantini in the 25th minute of play forced Martin Palermo F.C.'s goalkeeper Silvio Bazil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Enrico Giammarino took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Jailson Aparecido to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giovanni Arósio in the 30th minute of play forced México Eterno MZC's goalkeeper Jailson Aparecido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. México Eterno MZC's Jailson Aparecido proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save México Eterno MZC from getting a goal against them. Silvio Bazil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristide Ciuvică in the 36th minute of play. Silvio Bazil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristide Ciuvică in the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Martin Palermo F.C.'s Giovanni Arósio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jailson Aparecido. Jailson Aparecido yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Sol Izquierdo made in the 43rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Guillermo Izquierdo. Silvio Bazil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristide Ciuvică, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aristide Ciuvică to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aristide Ciuvică in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvio Bazil saved Martin Palermo F.C. from getting behind. Martin Palermo F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Aristide Ciuvică scored to the left of an out of position Silvio Bazil, making the score, 2-2. Jailson Aparecido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrico Giammarino in the 61st minute of play. If Celsinho Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. México Eterno MZC's Gaudencio Pancho was substituted for Marcos Fantini. When Martin Palermo F.C.'s Enrico Giammarino in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. México Eterno MZC's Gaudencio Pancho got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Martin Palermo F.C.'s zone, Gaudencio Pancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvio Bazil came out of the goal and Gaudencio Pancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
