In the 4th minute, Egil Sjögren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ovidio Furman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Jan Lindström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴'s Sun Wei quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Zoran Zorić, made in the 12th minute of the game. With a little luck, Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴'s Hao Chen Hao got control of the ball when Egil Sjögren tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 21st minute, Arne Andersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute Egil Sjögren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hao Chen Hao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24thth minute of the game Egil Sjögren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴'s Hao Chen Hao was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egil Sjögren in the 41st minute of play forced Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴'s goalkeeper Hao Chen Hao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl-Ove Rolfsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hao Chen Hao having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Ⱨ₳₵ɆĐØⱤ ĐɆ ØⱤØ₴'s goalkeeper Hao Chen Hao had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Egil Sjögren. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karl-Ove Rolfsson to make the kick off. Hao Chen Hao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chet Baker in the 51st minute of play. Chet Baker might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hao Chen Hao. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. When the referee ended the match the Frinnaryd players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
