Commander Crowe's Edvard Fagerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shi Ming in the 7th minute of play. Terremoto FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hilario Duarte in the 8th minute. Benicio Sugar was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Edvard Fagerberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 23rd minute, Umberto Nunes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kenneth Libesoons was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Edvard Fagerberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shi Ming in the 28th minute of play. After some careless play in the Commander Crowe defense, Shi Ming kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edvard Fagerberg. The Commander Crowe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edvard Fagerberg should have stopped the shot. 31 minutes into the match, Terremoto FC's goalkeeper Kenneth Libesoons had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Justo Lore. Kenneth Libesoons made an important save on a dangerous shot by Justo Lore in the 34th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Justo Lore got free with Kenneth Libesoons in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Shi Ming came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Terremoto FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shi Ming couldn't finish the play. 46 minutes into the match, Ondino Asenjo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kenneth Libesoons, 3-3. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Shi Ming to strike the kick off in the second half. Kenneth Libesoons made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Umberto Nunes in the 56th minute of play. Kenneth Libesoons stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Umberto Nunes's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Umberto Nunes put it in 4-3 from a short distance just to the right of Kenneth Libesoons. Terremoto FC made a substitution. Jeremias Macedo replaced Shi Ming. Olof Uter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 75th minute, Bengt-Arne Håkansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
